OFCCP’s notice states it received a request under the Freedom of Information Act from Will Evans of the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) for all Type-2 Consolidated EEO-1 Reports filed by federal contractors for the years 2016 through 2020. The FAQs on the agency’s website clarifies that this FOIA request does not encompass the pay data collected for 2017 and 2018 known as Component 2.
Federal contractors have 30 days from Friday, August 19 or until September 19, 2022 (as 30 days falls on Sunday, September 18) to file written objections to the disclosure of their reports under FOIA Exemption 4. The Federal Register notice announces that OFCCP has created a OFCCP Submitter Notice Response Portal through which contractors can submit their objections as well as FAQs. Contractors can also submit their written objections by email at OFCCPSubmitterResponse@dol.gov or by mail.
